Asian developer ABP pledge to invest £1.7 billion in the Royal Albert Dock project over the course of the next eight years.
ABP's chairman, commented: "These major investments are a vote of confidence to the UK and London market following Brexit vote"
Construction work will start early next year and plan on creating 845 new homes.
Mayor of Newham Sir Robin Wales said: "It is expected to create 20,000 full-time jobs, which is great news for the people of Newham"
